This lovely stallion imported from Costa Rica is almost pure Bocado and was sired by the Spanish stallion Noticero V, a pure Bocado grey stallion bred by Juan Manuel Urquijo of Spain. He is the sire of Emotiva.

Pinturero is from the Juan Manuel Urquijo stud of Spain. The estate and breeding operation has been recently acquired after their passing and will continue to produce horses from this Bocado lineage. They were known for their short backs, powerful hindquarters and maneuverability. Nepenthe has inherited all these qualities from her sire.

He is the sire of our precious Querida K from the prestigious Rancho Escondido. He is grandsire of our home bred bay colts, Templar M and Avatar M.
